Mike Stinson is an American singer-songwriter known for his blend of classic country and rock influences. After moving to Los Angeles in the early ’90s, he began writing and performing songs inspired by artists like Gram Parsons, George Jones, and Johnny Cash. His debut album, Jack of All Heartache, was released in 2002 and featured “Late Great Golden State,” which was later covered by Dwight Yoakam. Stinson has since built a reputation as a sharp, heartfelt songwriter, with music featured in shows like Mad Men and Cold Case, and continues to record and perform from his home base in Texas.
