Matt Hip writes, sings, and produces all his music,from his bedroom studio in Columbus Ohio. He recently graduated college from Ohio State, and he’s taking this year to grind his a** off in order to “make it” in the music industry. He plans on performing live more frequently all around the midwest, and wants to finish 2 EPs by August 2024. Matt’s music is special because he is not afraid to fuse genres; he makes whatever he feels like. You’ll find elements of Rap, Pop, EDM, Shoegaze and Alternative mixed throughout his music. He takes inspiration from Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, Cuco and Aries to create what he calls “Psychedelic pop-rap” Daily TikTok posts @matt.hip and Biweekly Youtube uploads @matthip.
