"hawa", a Columbus, OH born multiintrumentalist-singer-songwriter entered the scene with a bang with her debut single "Beloved" this year. Her mother being a hobbied singer, hawa grew up listening to music but not necessarily having resources to play music! After joining a school jazz band for piano at 15, hawa taught herself every instrument she could find sitting around the Westerville North practice rooms. Often using organic piano, orchestral strings, punchy brass, and groovy bass, hawa's somehow incorporates elements that span multiple genres. Her ability to arrange, play and produce look to have a promising future within the industry.
